hello, I ve a chalazion on my right eyelid for more than a month. The doctor gave me some antibiotic eyedrops and told me to do warm compresses and I have used the eyedrops and continue doing the warm compresses. sometimes it seemed to have disappeared but then if I don t do the compresses often enough it reappears. its size is the same, not big but noticeable when it swells. I don t want to have a surgery but the doctor said this would be the second option although I ve heard of the use of some sort injection on it to take away the pus
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having chalazion. The definitive treatment for chalazion is either by surgery in the form of incision and curettage or by intralesional injection of triamcinolone acetate. Intralesional injection of triamcinolone works very well and it can be used. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for treatment by this method.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having chalazion in the eyelid. The treatment options for chalazion are incision and curettage or by intralesional injection of steroid like triamcinolone acetate. If you want to avoid surgery you can go for the intralesional injection of steroid.
Hence I advice you yo consult your ophthalmologist for evaluation and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Thank you With regards
