Suggest Treatment For Bump On Labia Majora

Hi, I just started my period a few days ago and I've been wearing pads. Yesterday evening, I notice a single red bump on the outside of my labia majoria. It almost feels like I could just pop it. But It also seems like the skin is too thick to. What could this be? A pimple? Irritation from pads or from sweat? I'm almost 100% positive I'm std free. Please help!

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely folliculitis or bartholinitis. If it is in hair follicle it is folliculitis. If it is in labia it can be bartholinitis.Application of hot towel will give you relief. You can apply betadine ointment locally also.I usually advise antibiotic like clindamycin if there is moderate to severe infection. If there is any abscess formation then i advise incision and drainage.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
Thanks..
