But if you didn t suffer any trauma and discovered bruise suddenly, it may be indicative of bleeding disorder, low blood platelets, it can be due to the side effect of certain medications, nutritional deficiency, etc. Take food rich in vitamin C, vitamin K and iron. You can also take supplements. Thrombophob ointment is also used to treat bruises and hematoma (collection of blood under the skin).
