General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Though local ointment as hirudoid or else may help to reduce the post-traumatic hematoma, I would recommend

- Ice application three times a day.

- Wear protective sunglasses to avoid dust or pollen exposure.

- Manage hydration with plenty of liquids.

- Get prescription of necessary antibiotics as cefadroxil or else for prevention of secondary bacterial infection and proteolytic enzymes as serratiopeptidase or else for faster resolution of current hematoma issue.

However, if you can provide me a photo picture of the lesion, further guidelines can be narrated in accordance to that only. Awaiting for your response.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
