Suggest Treatment For Bruise After Falling Down Stairs

Hi, My Partner fell down a very nasty set of metal grated stairs this morning and has a very deep dark purple plumish bruise almost instantly, she hurts sitting and standing. She doesn't have insurance coverage yet as there is an overlap in switching jobs. I would like to help a much as I can. I did buy some Epson salt to soak in and I am looking for an appropriate icepack. do you have any other suggestion for relieving pain and getting through the work week.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that your partner is having bruise following a fall.
This indicates hematoma because of collection of blood. This requires treatment by cold compression and use of anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
