Suggest Treatment For Borderline Thyroid And Elevated Liver Enzymes

I am currently being tested for some type of hormone imbalance. I have always suffered with period related problems such as constant thrush with any change in my cycle and bleeding for to long. The blood test so far have confirmed I have a border line under active thyroid and elevated liver enzymes. I seem to be lossing a lot of my hair as well & I have gained a stone in 5 months. here are a few other things I m not sure if there are linked - night sweats / itchy-tingly nipple/ very weak and tired / mood swings / painful intercourse / vaginal dryness/breasts have grown/feeling sick/headaches. i also had a swab a few days ago as I was bleeding (and shouldn t be as the doctor has stopped my periods for 6 months) and the nurse said my cervix was bleeding and looked aggravated she seemed to think i may have a low grade infection.that might explain the low backache and period type pains I m having.I have had a laporoscopy to look for endometriosis but all was clear I was sent away and was told it would get better after a baby this was 3 years ago and since then I have had a baby and it s made everything worse. Please help

Hello,

It is probably caused by thyroid imbalance you have, you may need to do some tests for the thyroid function TSH, FT4, FT3.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
