Suggest Treatment For Blood In Urine After A Hysterectomy

Hello, I just had a hysterectomy on 8/31/15 and I haven t been spotting blood or found any blood while urinating. Until today, I wear my waist shaper for 2 hours and took it off used the bathroom and its blood in my urine. Can you please tell me why I started bleeding today???

Hello, welcome to HCM. The blood in urine is not related to hysterectomy. From the description about your urinary problems with blood, it appears that you have urinary tract infection-Pylonephritis (Infection of kidneys).  You need to get evaluated for this.  Kindly get the following things done: 1. Urine microscopy 2. Urine for culture and sensitivity 3. Ultrasound abdomen of Kidney, Ureter and Bladder region.  You can take help form Urologist with the above test reports for proper evaluation and management.  All the best and Wish you good health.
