Suggest Treatment For Bleeding When On Implanon Nxt Implant
I had the implanon nxt implant for several months and hadn t stopped bleeding. My doctor prescribed me primolut n daily to combat. I ve been taking the pills every 2-3 days for the last three months (as the bleeding would only stop periodically) and all of a sudden I m not bleeding at all. I never used a condom with my partner and I assumed it was safe to do so. Could I be pregnant? I ve gotten terrible mood swings this last week as if I am having a period but I m not bleeding at all. I m terribly confused and scared. Thanks.

From the information provided, there can be two possibilities:
A. You could be pregnant, which is why I need you to go about a home pregnancy test using an early morning urine sample at least 2 weeks from the suspected date of conception. Please repeat the test every 2-3 days, a total of 3 tests to be conducted for a more conclusive result
B. There has been a hormonal imbalance which has resulted in the lack of bleeding and mood swings. You have been on Primolut N on and off, this can easily cause an imbalance and so if at all pregnancy has been ruled out, then a hormonal imbalance may have to be addressed by your doctor so do visit one
