i am a medical student.my life is sedentry.am overweight and i am a diagnosed case of pcos for 1 yr.i am not taking any medications.now i noticed bilateral non pitting pedal edema that increases after prolong sitting.i am realy worried abt it.please guide me.thanks

Hello. Usually this is a problem with incompetent valves in the leg veins and nothing really serious, but it could also indicate congestive heart failure or a liver or kidney problem so you need to have a doctor check this out and get some blood work done
