Suggest Treatment For Bartholinitis

Hi, I have bartholonitis on my right side, it is not extremely swollen, but still kinda swollen. I have been to the doctor and she gave me antibiotics and said to come back when it is going to become like an egg and forms puss. And she said that then she will make and incision. My question is: I heard that only that incision will cause a reoccurance of the disease but isn t marsupialization a better option? Are there better chances of it not happening again by using this method instead of only cutting it? And what do I do if it burts over the night, do I let it pass and clean it? Thank you very much for your time!

Hello,

I think the incision is most useful. Since it is not getting cured with antibiotics.
Doing frequent baths with warm water can help you open it and drain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
