I am an 18 year old college student. I have had 8 sexual partners since 15 and have always wore a condom. I am on birth control and have been in a serious relationship for 8 months. He has only had one sexual relationship and they were both virgins. About 5 days ago, I was experiencing extreme itching in my vagina area and slight discharge/pain/smell. I was about to get something to cure a yeast infection when the next day I felt a marble size bump on my labia minora? I started looking at it and it looked like a canker sore that I get in my mouth often. I've never experienced this before, so I told my mother, who is a nurse. She said if it gets worse, we'd set up an appointment with my family care/obgyn. Well the next day, I noticed a few more show up around the outside lips of my vagina. They looked like infected hair follicles, which I get often with shaving. Well yesterday while showering, they began to look like canker sores too but less. They are all extremely painful. The odor is still bad and it's always moist around the area. I am about to start my period though, and am wondering if increased levels of hormones have started this. I have always struggled with b12 deficiency, and was born with hypothyroidism, which always places factor in weird things that happen to me medically. I am going to the doctor hopefully this evening to figure everything out.
