Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Emotional Problems

My son is 24 years old. For about 5 years now when he is sick, his glands in his neck will swell and put pressure on his nerves, causing pain. He was sick a few days ago and went to walk in clinic and they gave him a steroid shot. His neck is better but he is having high levels of anxiety and emotional problems. He recently has graduated college, took on a management position, and gotten married all within 4 months. That has not helped. I think it s mainly the steroid shot. How can he detox?
