Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am suffering from Bipolar Disorder , I have been on medication , but recently my anger and irrtability has been uncontrolled. I also feel very depressed and stressed. There is stess happening at
my work place , but gradually my anger has become so much ,that i am getting violent and restless.
I can understand the distress you might be facing currently. I would have liked to more details of the episodes of your bipolar disorder, duration of illness and current medications and treatment.
Since you are having mood disturbances in form of anger and irritability even while on medications, it seems that medications you are taking are not sufficient enough. You need to talk to your psychiatrist regarding the same. Either the dose of the medications has to be adjusted or some other agent will have to be added. In short, the current medications that you are on have to be reviewed.
Hope this information was helpful. Best wishes.
