Suggest Treatment For Acne On Penis

Hi, I think I have acne or black heads on my penis, I m not sure what they are but I ve had them since I was in 7th grade. They don t hurt or anything and I popped them a while ago and they are empty now. Is this normal or should I be concerned because the bumps are still there

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of acne on penis it seems to be due to hair follicle infection in that area leading to folliculitis. It could be due to improper hygiene in that area. Need not to worry. You should wear cotton high quality undergarments. Wash the area with cold water thoroughly. You should mild antiseptic solution like Savlon and you should apply topical hydrocortisone cream on the lesions. Avoid wearing tight clothes. You should take tablet Levocetrizine once a day to overcome itching. I would suggest you to abstain from sexual activities till the lesions heal completely. You should take oral antifungal medicine like Fluconazole.
