I have had an acne infection for years and have received a prescription for Tetracycline. I love the out doors and an avid golfer. I have obvious concerns about the side effects from the sun. Should I not to take the medication or what can I do to minimize this risk.
Hello, To prevent the darkness due to Tetracycline you may opt to use a good sunscreen before going outdoors or even more better would be to use other class of antibiotics which are not phototoxic. Hope the information was useful. Thanks Dr Hardik Pitroda
