Suggest Treatment For A Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck

Hi, I have, what im assuming, is a swollen lymph node on the left side of my neck, at the base of my hair line just next to my spine. Generally it comes and goes each day, with it being enlarged in the afternoon and gone by the morning after sleeping. i have seen my Dr who said i probably have an infection and put me on a course of anti-biotics but they gave not helped at all. It first appeared roughly 4 weeks ago and it has been two weeks since i have finished the anit-biotics. I do not have any sores on my head nor do i have any pimples. Generally i am pretty healthy.

hi
Lymph nodes filter the lymphatic fluid and store special cells that can trap cancer cells or bacteria that are traveling through the body in the lymph fluid. these may be enlarged in genetic lipid storage diseases,

since you are asymptomatic nothing to worry about. but i suggest to undergo lymphnode biopsy
note : lymphnodes are biopsable only when their size is atleast 5mm (medium)
