Suggest Treatment For A Painful Red Bump On The Leg

Have what looks like a bug bite on my leg. (originally thought it could be the start of poison ivy) Was one bubble with clear liquid coming out of it. Last night was red an inch around the bubble and now my calf is all red and foot is swollen. I have a tempurature of 101. Ideas?

You need to apply antibiotic cream and also take some anti allergic along with medication for fever.In some cases, the physician needs to prescribe a steroid to control the spread of poison from the original site of bite. You might like to watch it for a day or so and if that does not help then please go to your doctor who will start with the appropriate treatment. In the meantime wash the area frequently to provide relief and to wash out the oozing fluid. It would help if you keep the affected limb in an elevated position to reduce the swelling
