Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Mons Pubis

Pls I have a lump on my mons pubis. Came out like three days back and I thought it was the normal after shave effect. Two days later am feeling an excrutiating pain within the region that I find it difficult to walk normally. Pores have started coming out but its so painful that I can t even press it or get my wife to help. Can I take an intramuscular injection lidocaine (anastesia) to numb the pain for me to press the pores out. This pain is killing plss.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
First of all you should get your Blood sugar checked as the lump at the mons pubis has developed many pores, indicating this has turned into a ''carbuncle'' occurs in diabetes.
Consult a Doctor, get a clinical check up done, get the correct antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines and an appointment of a Surgeon for proper care.
You can not take such injections as Lidocaine on your own for fear of reaction and intramuscular works in the muscles not at mons.
I find this answer helpful
