Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Areola In A Child

My son is 13 and is going through puberty, he suffered with lumps on both areola some months ago, which disappeared. But for the past 2 weeks has had a pea sized lump on one of his aerola which is painful. Ive not been able to get him an appointment at our GP.

Lump in areola is common in teen age.It is due to change in hormonal levels in puberty.In most of the cases it is self limiting.
No treatment is needed.Just observe the swelling and if increases rapidly then consult your pediatrician as in that condition it may be due to infection a condition called mastitis.
