I found a pea-marble size lump on my 3 year old daughter's throat about 4 days ago. It's hard & there is no pain or discomfort associated with it at all. I took her to her pediatrician today in hopes of finding some kind of answer but the doctor said that it's not a lymphnode, and it is not a thyroid as it's placement is centered just above where a males adam's apple would be, kind of in the crook where your neck meets your head/under chin. She didn't have any idea what it could be, only said there's a possibility of it being a cyst but just to bring her back if it gets bigger. My daughter's only 3 & my son had a pherengial abcess when he was 5. However, his "bubble" was inside of his throat. The doc says my daughters is not inside her throat or on her esophagus. Help please!
