Suggest Treatment For A Bump In The Tongue And Lesions Around The Mouth

I have had lesions on the sides of my mouth, my tongue is very sore around the edges, and today I noticed the underneath was dark purple. I also have had a bump or knot in the middle of my tongue. That lasted about a week and now it is just a white spot.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain lesions on the sides of mouth can be due to Angular Chelitis and can be due to either viral infection causing cold sores and is caused by Herpes Simplex Virus 1..
It can also be due to bacterial infection..
The soreness of tongue can be due to Apthous Stomatitis causing Inflammation of tongue or Glossitis and the white spot that was previously a bump seems to be an Apthous ulcer..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be diagnostic..
In case of cold sores antiviral medicinies like oral and topical acyclovir, valacyclovir can be advised..
In case of bacterial infection antibiotics can be given..
For soreness inside mouth and over tongue taking MultiVitamin supplements, gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine and suck ice pops..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Maintain a good oral hygiene and gargle with antimicrobial mouthwash..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
