Suggest Treatment For TSH Level To Zero After Taking Synthroid

Female and 37 years old. Diagnosed with Graves disease 12 years ago 6 months postpartum. Treated with our RAI therapy. Started synthroid. Took about a year to find right dose and achieve normal blood thyroid levels--125mcg. About 6 years ago TSH fell to 0. Free T4 and Free T3 both midrange normal. Hair loss, weight gain, severe cold intolerance. Endo wanted to increase TSH so he cut meds back to 112mcg. Symptoms were magnified. Hands started turning blue and heartrate was in low 60 s. Had a hard time functioning and getting out of bed. TSH remained at 0 and free levels dropped to low normal. Endo wanted to decrease dose even further. I said absolutely not and am in the process of finding a new doctor. What could possible be wrong?

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi dear user
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

Hair loss, weight gain, severe cold intolerance, low heart rate are all symptoms of hypothyroidism , this means that your TSH must be high and free thyroid hormons must be low.
Your thyroid test are really abnormal.

I suggets to repeat the thyroid test in another lab and then accordingly to results you must talk with your endocrinologist for the right dose adjustement.

Hope i have answered yo your question.
Thank you for using HCM.
Wish you good health.
