Sir,



My father is 72 years and diagonized with CVD. also he was diagonized with Edema a year back

He was advised to take lasix first and then chnaged to lasilactone 50 in the past 6 months

Can he continue this drug?

Now there is no Edema or any kind of swelling

u did not mentioned about his heart function but if heart function is normal than he can discontinue the the drug. but still better do an echocardiography and give all medication histry
