Suggest The Specialist To Be Consulted For Muscle Weakness

Not sure what kind of dr or what to look into next - primary symptoms muscle weakness all movements (worse towards end of day - even holding neck up) and burning, exercise intolerance (30 minutes of circuit = 2-3 day recovery with fatigue and more weakness). Some balance and brain fog issues. Blood tests for myasthenia gravis are negative as is EMG. Ruled out MS 2 years ago and just about everything else. Benign Schwanomma c3/c4 years ago.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I recommend checking thyroid hormone levels and CK levels. Chronic fatigue syndrome can not be excluded either. I recommend checking vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
