Suggest Suitable Therapy For Depression

My doctor has diagnosed me with Depression, I am taking anti depressants but I believe I have bi polar (I'm not just depressed, I have periods of increased energy and great work output). Sometimes I really doubt what I can do, but this is complimented by periods of great confidence (I believe I can do anything!). I feel these tablets are making these periods come quicker, I feel really unstable. I don't know what to do or what to say to my doctor. This has been ongoing since I was 12, it's always been diagnosed with depression and I never get better. I want to feel stable, I fear the thoughts racing through my head.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. You have periods of increased energy and great work output and you suspect bipolar disorder. You should not attempt self diagnosis. Especially in the case of mental disorders, such a self diagnosis could wreck havoc. Your psychiatrist know the symptoms better and he is experienced. You may talk to him regarding your given problems. Work with him and trust him for better treatment and cure.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
