Suggest Suitable Remedy For Constipation

i am having an mri for chronic back pain over my sacrum and piriformis. have now started experiencng constipation that is very painful on my back and i cannot strain to help it. i have been on dyhydrocodene for the pain but stopped taking this 2 days ago. i have had chronic pain on and off for over 2 years but for the last 10 weeks the pain has not gone away. i am also suffering now more recently with hip pain more so on the right side where the piriformis pain is...i am concerned about the new symptom of constipation that started today. should i be concerned. i am 37 female

Hello,

Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Drink more water. 
-Eat more fiber, especially soluble, non-fermentable fiber. 
-Exercise more. 
-Drink coffee, especially caffeinated coffee. 
-Take Senna, an herbal laxative. 
-Eat probiotic foods or take probiotic supplements. 
-Take over-the-counter or prescription laxatives.
