Suggest Substitute Of 'flagyl' For Treating Intestinal Inflammation In A Child
My son was diagnosed with visceral hyperalgesia today and was also told that he has an undetermined bacteria that's causing inflammation in his small intestine. He is only 5 years old, 3'8", and 37lbs. They started him on Flagyl 6.5mls TID x10 days and he is vomiting it back up as soon as he takes it. Is there anything similar to Flagyl or what else should I ask for. The liquid Flagyl smells and tastes AWFUL!

In place of Flagyl you may use Tinidazole or Secnidazole.
