Suggest Steroids Which Do Not Raise My Eye Pressure
i recently learned that i am a steroid responder...steroid drops raised my left eye pressure to over 30 after my cat operation. now i am on combigan again. a few weeks ago combigan lowered my eye pressuer to 12, but my dr wanted to try a mild steroid, which shot my eye pressue up again ie 32.....
there are numberous steroids......as a steroid responder, what family or class of steroids should i be concerned about taking ???? THANKS Ray

It seems from the history that you are having problem of steroid responder. The raise of intraocular pressure occurs with use of steroids in steroid responders.
The potent steroids like prednisolone acetate and dexamethasone are associated with more increase of intraocular pressure.
Low potent steroids like flurometholone or lotepred are known to be associated with lesser raise of intraocular pressure. Do consult your ophthalmologist for prescription of the drugs.
