Hi,

Romilast contains montelukast which belongs to the group of medications known as leukotriene receptor antagonists is used to treat asthma and allergic symptoms like sneezing and runny nose. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies. Side effects of Romilast are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, abdominal pain, dry mouth, tiredness, weakness, sleepiness, dizziness, drowsiness, indigestion, shakiness, joint pain, muscle aches, sweating, irregular heartbeat, trouble sleeping, unusual bruising, tremor, allergic reactions etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
