Suggest Safe Way To Avoid Pregnancy
last month period started on 13th june 2011.I made relation with my husband and took Unwanted 72 Pill to avoid pregnancy but it did not worked i think.I missed my period and today is 26th July.I am tensed.Also i did pregnancy test today.One dark pink line appeared and one light pink.Is abortion pill safe for me? or should i go for operation?pls advice.

An induced medical abortion can be had until 9 weeks of pregnancy under proper medical supervision. If your HPT shows positive result, you should see a specialist for a clinical confirmation. A trans-vaginal sonogram should be done to locate the gestation sac and know the age of the pregnancy. After preliminary investigations, you can proceed for the abortion if you do not wish to retain this pregnancy. The process takes 2-3 days and clinically checked by the consultant. A follow up sonogram is mandatory. Hope this helps.
