Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
I think upper back pain and dry cough may be due to Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Particularly when you have a negative chest Xray.
Multiple antibiotics wouldn't help you in this condition. Rather they would kill the protective gut bacteria.
To confirm absence of any pulmonary disease , you may have a CT scan of chest done. If there is no abnormality, you should consult a local gastroenterologist.
I usually advice my patients with these symptoms to have
Tab Rabeprazole+Levosupiride extended release combination once daily before breakfast for 14 days.
You may also have some antitussive for dry cough, e.g. Grilinctus D syr 2 tsf twice daily for 5 days.
As you were on multiple antibiotics, you should have probiotics, e.g. enterogermina oral suspension twice daily for 15 days.
Please avoid smoking, carbonated beverages, alcohol and spices. Avoid lying down just after having meals. Have small frequent meals and avoid fasting for more than 4 hrs.
For any further questions, please write back.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushik
