Suggest Remedy For Weakened Muscles With History Of Regular Weightlifting And Soon To Start Dialysis
I m soon to start dialysis and have been a regular weight lifter for years. I notice my muscles are weaker (that may have to do with some of the medications I m taking.) Just walking has never been enough exercise for me. I m 63, female, 111 lbs, 5 4 and 3/4 inches and am considered on the thin side. No other major issues physically. What would you suggest? Thanks, Tess Lawson
Hi I think as you are about to start dialysis its difficult for me to recommend you certain remedies. Because you have weakness on muscles because of thin muscles and to have a strong muscle you need to increade your muscle mass and to increase your muscle mass you ned to have protein diet as muscles are made up of proteins and that protein will further damage your kidney. So i just recommend you sugar or carbohydrate in your diet which provides energy. Get well soon. Thank you.
