Suggest Remedy For Water Logs In Ear & Nose
hello, for last few years i have been complaining of ear water logging and blocked nose cold behind nose and eyes and always feel there is no air through my ears.. now again new ent has tried few things and now prescribed predmet 4mg.... he said there is no middle ear logging it is just heavy blocked cold and effecting the ears.... if it doesnt work then he would need to do a surgery and make a ventilator through the ear for air????....... my question is predmet is just going to ease the blockage but not cure the problem... what should i do?... i dont want surgery.. and no ent has been able to cure the problem..

Chronic bilateral ear block secondary to nasal pathology should be investigated with an endoscopy of nose.Prednisolone helps to clear out your fluid in the ears and reduces inflammation.The Ent doctor has done the right thing by giving maximum medical treatment first followes by option of surgery,which is putting a ventilation tube in your ear.
