I have begun to experience wavy vertical lines in my right eye for the last week. About 2 weeks ago I had a very red area on the outside white of that eye, as if I had blown the blood vessels there. This has happened before but without the distorted vision. I am 69 years and have excellent vision normally, using non prescription reading glasses (175) when the light is low or the print is on colored paper. I am an artist and do a lot of detail work in botanical illustration. Marilyn
