Suggest Remedy For Side Effects From Nortriptolyne For Nerve Pain

I was on a low dose of Nortriptolyne for 4weeks for lower limb nerve pain but it gave me horrid side effects ... Anxiety, nervousness and very dark thoughts, so I came off a week ago and the nerve pain has come back but much worse. I don t know why and what to do next

There are other medications that you can try for neuralgia (nerve related pain).

Most of the medications for this type of pain were originally only used for depression or seizure disorders but it has been found that these types of medications work well for persons who have no history of either of these conditions.

Examples are lyrica, gabapentin, tegretol, amitriptyline

You can try one of these medications to see if your pain can be reduced.
