Suggest Remedy For Running Nose, Cough And Clogged Ears
I just got done traveling from Denver to San Diego and my ears wouldn't pop with the change in altitude. Now I can't hear clearly and I have a runny nose with a cough, and my body was achy yesterday. I slept all day yesterday and basically i have two weeks of school left and I want to get better before i travel back home. how do i get better?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems that you had upper respiratory tract infection causing runny nose and coughbody ache and difficulty to hear clearly can be due to either blockage in eustachian tube due to infection or fluid accumulation behind ear drum.. I would suggest you to take a course of antibiotics like Levofloxacin or Azithromycin, oral decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, decongestant nasal sprays like Xylometazoline, steam inhalations and use a humidfier in your room.. Antibiotic ear drops like Gentamycin and steroid drops can help.. Avoid spicy foods..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
