Suggest Remedy For Problem In Eye Lashes

I had what I thought was a sty well below the lashline inside my lower lid. I ve had it for at least 6 months. 2 months ago, another place developed on my top lid near the lash line. They both have yellowish nodules when you flip the lids up and look at them. Neither is painful. Now, however, the top lid is losing lashes where the thing is or the lashes point in the wrong direction. Also, the yellowish top on the outside of the top lid actually peels away, yet the thing never goes away. I made an appt. with an opthalmologist. I am wondering now about sebaceous cell carcinoma and should I start with a dermatologist? HELP PLEASE (female, 43, 5 4 , 147 lbs., healthy)

Hello,

Sebaceous cell carcinoma is an extremely rare condition and symptoms does not fit in to it as well. Possible causes like stye folliculitis must be ruled out. Consult an ophthalmologist and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
