Suggest Remedy For Pimples

Hello doctor..I am having a query regarding the usage of ointment RetarelI am having a kind of small pimple on my skin just below nose and above lips. Might be due to bathing issues, it must have aroused on my skin as I skip daily bathing. Please let me know if I can use the Retarel ointment as it is an Antibiotic cream only. Thanks

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Retarel is an antibiotic which will work for boils arising from infection of the hair follicle ( called as folliculitis). From your description, it seems to me that you are having folliculitis. So you could use the same cream. Apply twice a day for 5 days.
However, if you are having an acne lesion ( commonly called as pimples), Retarel will not work. You could use a gel containing 1% Clindamycin twice a day.
