Suggest Remedy For Pelvic Pain After Aparoscopic Adhesiolysis
Hi my name is Kim I am currently with two months history of recurrent pelvic pain, post coital and intermenstrual bleeding.I had a pelvic ultrasound done last week show a 4.3cm haemorrhagic or debris cyst on my left ovary. Could you please give me a bit more info about this? I forgot to tell you that I just had a laparoscopic adhesiolysis and excision of endometriosis on May this year.
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Haemorrhagic cyst in the ovary in ultrasound is suggestive of recurrence of the endometriotic cyst in the ovary, which is common after surgery. This is the cause for the pelvic pain you are having. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist as you will require repeat excision of the cyst and should receive proper post operative drugs to prevent the recurrence of endometriosis. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
