Suggest Remedy For Mucus Buildup And Blurry Eyes With Abrasion On Cornea

I have an abrasion on my left cornea. The DR. that I seen said that it was healing & put in a couple of drops in to stop any infection. He said that it would take a day or two to heal.My eye has a bit of a buildup of mucus in there & it's a bit blurry. Is there a drop like,Bion Tears out there that I could take that will help clear up this buildup in my eye? Or should I just let nature take its course?
