Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I read your query and can understand your concern regarding your current state. Depression is a disorder which is highly amenable to treatment. Anti-depressant medication are safe and effective.

I suggest you consult a psychiatrist without further delay. Treatment with medicines like escitalopram or sertaline can be tried. There is also an option of psychotherapy like cognitive behavior therapy. You can discuss regarding the same with your psychiatrist.

You can start exercising daily as that will help you relax. Diary writing is another method which can hep you feel better.

Hope this information was helpful. Best wishes.
