Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Skipping is a good all body exercise and burn lots of calories in less time. But it puts too much pressure on discs. As you are already having back pain you should better avoid it now.A physical examination of your spine like palpation is needed preferably should be done by an orthopedician.X ray might be needed to rule out any pathology. With short term NSAIDs muscle relaxants exercises and physiotherapy will clear up your problem.A proper posture in your working place is recommended and giving relaxation to your back intermittently.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
