Suggest Remedy For Hemorrhoids

I am experiencing tingling and numbness in my tailbone, making it difficult to walk or move around without being in pain. I am also, for the first time, experiencing hemorrhoids, which are also very painful. Any suggestions for pain relief or idea on what could be causing the discomfort would be greatly appreciated.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that pain, numbness and tingling of tailbone along with Hemorrhoids can be due to Hemorrhoids itself as a radiating pain while it can also be due to causes like traumatic injury to tailbone, tailbone sprain, Bursitis, prolonged sitting or standing, excess weight, childbirth, ankylosong spondylitis etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Orthopedician and get evaluated and a clinical examination and investigations like x Ray, MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Naproxen, do warm or cool compresses as per cause, Steroid injection, back support belts, avoid long hours of sitting, loose weight if obese and Physiotherapy can also be ..
In case if it is due to Hemorrhoids, treatment of the same will help.
For Hemorrhoids that can be due to chronic constipation of diarrhea, straining during bowels and childbirth..
It can be treated with application of steroid and numbing ointment, cool compresses sitting in warm water tub, avoid spicy food, take stool softener like Docusate and laxative like Polyethylene Glycol can relieve..
If Medication doesn't work surgical procedure like Rubber band ligation, Sclerotherapy etc can be advised..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.

hello,

Hemorrhoids usually occur due to prolonged constipation, less intake of dietary fibres and pregnancy. This results in veins of your anal canal to bulge out.
Pain relief can be by following:
1. increase fibres in diet. a quick search can give you a whole list of foods which have high fibres.
2. avoid prolonged stay on toilet seat.
3. Take Diclofenac K 50mg twice daily
4. A drug 'daflon' or a drug containing disomin 450mg/hesperidin 50mg can be given once daily which have good results.
5. If problem still persists, surgical opinion is necessary.

Wish you safe and swift recovery
