Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I read your query.
I personally think that he has had a viral infection, like a
flu that has affected his
sinuses and therefore he has a chronic infection-
sinusitis. This sinusitis may be causing him to have the problems. And it would need clearing of sinuses before he starts to feel better.
You can try steam inhalation and warm saline gargles along with nasal drops.
There is also a possibility of this being a
migraine. Alternatively, a
tension headache may also be thought about. To diagnose these, I need following information-
1. Any vomitting?
2. Any nausea?
3. Unilateral or bilateral?
4. Throbbing pulse like pain?
5. Photophobia?
6. Phonophobia?
7. Neck pain?
8. Pain radiating to arms?
9. Duration of pain?
The power of the spectacles is too low it seems to cause problem. And if that was the cause, correction of the refractory error with glasses should help.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to ask for further information
Best of luck
Dr Mittal
