Suggest Remedy For Headache After Being Hit On The Forehead

i fell and hit my forehead about a week ago and was left with a long lump from my hair line (in front of my temple) to my eyebrow bone. i hit the eyebrow bone really hard and it also blacked my eye and the table that i hit had a really sharp corner and poked a pretty deep hole in my forehead at the end of my eyebrow(the end of my eyebrow closest to my nose). i didn t go to the hospital or doctor and now i am having really bad headaches that seem to last all day long and at times are like migraines. i have had migraines in the past. my neck is really stiff and at times the headaches seem to generate from my neck.

Hi,

First of all, you should know the space under the scalp is a closed space extends from eye lids to the back of the head. If you had a trauma on this area, some blood vessels would leak blood. You should have gone to hospital to do CT Brain and receive antibiotic to prevent the complications of infection in this space.

I hope I have answered all your questions. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Mustafa, Neurologist
