Suggest Remedy For Excessive Weight Gain And Joints Pain After Child Birth

I gave birth to my son 10 months ago. My hormones have not gone back to normal, my period Is late or early every month. Also i have gained 30 pounds since having my son. Change in diet exercise, nothing helps. My joints hurt to the point I can t bend them for long periods of time. Is this normal? Should my body be reacting this way 10 months after giving birth?

Hi,
Since it has been almost a year since you have given birth, you should now be able to shed those extra kilos put on during pregnancy. A couple of days is a normal range for any natural period and so long as it stays within a week, it does not matter. If you cannot see any improvement in weight with diet control and exercise, it is time to see a physician or an obesity clinic for further help. You may also need to test for hormone profile to see if any derangement has occurred of late. For your joints, physiotherapy in addition to analgesics is necessary. Weight loss is the ultimate solution. Hope this helps.
