Suggest Remedy For Ear Pain

My ear itched so I put my finger in it and moved it back and forth to stop the itching. After doing this I ended up with pain in my ear. I have been applying heat and it feels a little better while the heat is on but when I take the heat off it hurts. What can I put in the ear to make it stop hurting

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that due to putting the finger on and out in the ear to itch might have injured the ear canal leading to inflammation and pain..
In case if it is the cause there is nothing to be worried about and you can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and pain and inflammation both will subside.
There is also a possibility that you have injured the ear drum die to putting finger deep inside and led to small perforation.
It can lead to lose of hearing..
I would therefore suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get an Otoscopic examination done and treatment can be advised accordingly..
In case of perforation antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller and decongestant along with analgesic and antibiotic ear drops can help..
