Suggest Remedy For Discomfort And Pain In Pelvic Area

Hi. I had a TAHBSO procedure 3 weeks ago. For past three days I have experienced some spotting. Ive read that this can be normal. However today, I am feeling discomfort and pain in the pelvic area, including my lower back, like the pain one feels with dismenorrhea. What could possibly be wrong.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Spotting is seen as a postoperative finding and regresses as the tissues heal. It is not common to see spotting three weeks after the surgery. This, in association with the symptoms you have described, suggest a possibility of some collection in the pelvic cavity and this needs to be examined and treated. Please contact your specialist for proper clinical appraisal of the situation. You would need a speculum examination and a sonogram of the pelvis. Please maintain proper genital hygiene and avoid strain. Hope this helps.
