Dear sir i can understand your concern
i am very sorry for your mother condition.
infection occur commonly in uncontrolled diabetes.
in females infection for urinary tract and kidney are the commonly observed.
As you mom stayed in hospital they might have already done the culture and sensitivity of urine and she might have been put on antibiotics as per culture and sensitivity report.
in this kind of conditions good diabetes control is very important,As she is already taking insulin she will be doing better.
i suggest you to monitor her sugar regularly and keep them under control.
keep in touch with your treating doc for adjustment of dosage of insulin
