Suggest Remedy For Chaffed Cut On Vagina From Sex

I had sex a few days ago and I was dry and I could tell that the guy was chaffing my vagina. However it s not healing as quickly as I thought it would and it is extremely painful to touch and to pee (only hurts to pee when the urine gets into my chaffed cuts). The cut looks like it follows the line of my vagina so I don t think it s and STI, but there are other little bumps/cuts that go with it. What is the best method to take care of this and have the healing process as quick as possible because this is very uncomfortable.

Hello,

You need a sitz bath with Betadine solution. Twice a day. Clean your vagina and apply an antibacterial ointment, it will heal quickly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Meena Jethani , OBGYN
